Mission
United Generations Ontario (UGO) exists for the purpose of building a shared knowledge base of IG practices, supported by our stakeholders.
Mandate
United Generations Ontario (UGO) is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of other registered Canadian charities involved in providing benefits to members of different generations - children, youth, their parents and people of their parents' generation, seniors and other older adults.
Context
The increasing separation of family members and the segregation of generations
is diminishing the quality of life for everyone in our society. UGO is concerned
about this fragmentation and recognizes the need for increased interaction
among the generations. United Generations Ontario has been organized to respond
to these concerns and to promote and enhance the positive growth of the human
family.
